The European Union might “respond swiftly and decisively” against what it deems “unjustified” travel bans issued by the United States on five European individuals working on combating online hate and disinformation, an EU official stated.

European Leaders Decry US Action as ‘Intimidation’

European leaders including the French president charged the US administration of “coercion and intimidation”, after the travel bans were placed on individuals that were at the heart of efforts to introduce laws regulating American tech companies.
